Adaptations
ORV has separate webtoon, live-action film, animation, and audiobook adaptations. These pages describe production background and keep adaptation information distinct from novel canon. Novel chapter tags remain the reading-progress control. ch 0
See Webtoon, Film, Animation, and Audiobook. The supplied Korean reference snapshots date from August to October 2026. Publication dates below describe recorded releases; current availability and future schedules can change. ch 0
A webtoon episode may cover a different amount of material from a novel chapter. Film publicity, trailers, cast lists, and source links can also reveal later characters. Cast references in this wiki open with those characters' novel introductions. ch 0
1. Webtoon Edit
The webtoon credits UMI for adaptation and Sleepy-C for art. Its Korean serialization began on Naver Webtoon in May 2020, with an English WEBTOON edition following in August. The Webtoon page includes the recorded correspondence for the first fifty story episodes, along with the distinction between serial and revised novel material. ch 0
A correspondence is a reading aid rather than a one-number conversion. Installments change length, and a collected volume is another unit again. Use a completed story episode to find the relevant novel range, then set progress according to the novel material actually read. ch 0
2. Live-action film Edit
The film directed by Kim Byung-woo was released in Korea on July 23, 2025. Film covers the credited production staff, performers, development chronology and specific changes from the novel. The rights agreement's five-film ambition describes a plan, not a count of released films. ch 0
3. Animation project Edit
The saved Animation reference documents the 2024 production announcement and later promotional material. Its broadcast and staff tables remain incomplete, and its projected years are recorded as reports rather than treated as a verified release schedule. These files do not establish an episode-to-novel conversion for an aired series. ch 0
4. Korean audio production Edit
Audiobook records the production associated with Millie's Library and Genie Music and the supplied Part 1 voice cast. Its serialization began on June 30, 2025 according to the saved article. Cast credits are separated by character so that sharing a performer does not expose an as-yet-unintroduced role. ch 0
5. Which version establishes a fact Edit
This wiki's character histories and chapter gates follow WeTried's novel translation. Adaptation pages identify their own changes explicitly. A different design, weapon, scene order or performance belongs to that version unless the novel independently supplies the same fact. ch 0
6. SourcesEdit
Chapter tags use the continuous WeTried novel numbering and control spoiler visibility. Names follow the current ORV glossary; earlier published variants are retained only where useful as gated aliases.
Background outline: the supplied Namu Wiki reference and its contributors, licensed CC BY-NC-SA 2.0 KR. Adaptation credits and reception viewpoints come from that saved reference, not from the cited novel chapter. Source links may contain unrestricted spoilers.
