Overview

Lore · from the start · 2 parts open later, the next at chapter 1

This wiki follows the WeTried translation of Wizard in the Poncho and its project glossary. Articles reveal information according to your selected reading chapter, including aliases, relationships, powers, and later outcomes.

2 hidden, starting at chapter 1

1. Where to beginEdit

  • Characters introduces the cast and links to profiles covering history, personality, relationships, equipment, and abilities.
  • Magic organizes the systems, branches, individual techniques, costs, and prepared objects.
  • Monsters compares appearances, hunting methods, encounters, counters, and proposed relationships.
  • Factions follows recruitment, leadership, competing beliefs, and the institutions behind the crisis.
  • Places connects the locations to events and the expedition's movements.
  • Episodes provides reading sections and recaps that open only after their listed endpoint.
  • Timeline tracks when events are revealed, including histories reconstructed much later.
  • Glossary records the English forms used in the translation and their Korean counterparts.

Use the interactive world map for location-based reading, the chapter guide for chapter-by-chapter references, and Connections to follow links between subjects.

2. How the entries handle uncertaintyEdit

Military reports, survivor testimony, recovered memories, and Jemin's own theories do not always establish the same degree of certainty. Articles identify who supplies an explanation and distinguish a proposed relationship from an observed event. A character's interpretation can develop without being silently projected backward into an earlier chapter.

3. CoverageEdit

This edition covers translated chapters 1 to 159. Later material in the Korean reference files is withheld until it is supported by the English chapters. Supporting characters and briefly mentioned objects receive the detail the sources establish, while major subjects receive fuller histories and separate sections for later developments.
